Both boxers met the weigh-in on Friday, with Joshua weighing the heaviest, albeit by very little. He clocked in at 250 pounds, while Helenius officially weighed in at 249.4 pounds.
His last fight was in April, where he defeated Jermaine Franklin by unanimous decision in Derrick James’ debut in AJ’s corner.
Helenius, 39, will be fighting for the second time in eight days following his recent knockout victory on August 5.
Although the fight with Helenius is a last-minute solution, both fighters are expected to give their best in this showdown at the O2 Arena in London.
