The Evening Standard have revealed that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, who is said to be on Tottenham’s radar, has been offered to Chelsea.
According to previous reports, Antonio Conte wants to sign a versatile striker who can play across the front three, with Jesus said to be on the names on Spurs’ radar (The Telegraph).
Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the Brazilian, with The Times reporting last week that the Gunners are ‘quietly confident’ of beating their North London rivals to the City star’s signature.
The Evening Standard have now revealed that Chelsea could also be about to enter the race for Jesus, with City said to have offered the Blues a chance to sign the forward.
The report claims that the 25-year-old’s representatives are exploring all options available to him this summer and have sounded out several clubs.
Jesus is said to have already held talks with both Spurs and Arsenal, with the interest from Mikel Arteta’s side described as the ‘most concrete’.
The Evening Standard add that Real Madrid are also tracking the forward but the City star is keen to stay in the Premier League should he leave the Etihad this summer.
The report asserts that Pep Guardiola’s men hope to make around £50m from Jesus’ sale by getting a bidding war going for the forward.
