David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a well-known singer, has stated that the most “rugged” candidates win elections in Nigeria.
On Wednesday, the singer made the observation via his X page.
Davido confirmed that rugged men were on his uncle’s side in response to a curious fan’s question about whether his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, also won by ruggedness.
In the comment section, a fan with the X handle @chief_ochuko wrote, Abi, how rugged is your uncle?
Davido’s response: Men ascend.
