Nigerian artist, Crown Uzama also known as Shallipopi has uncovered a few fascinating insights concerning his tunes.

As per him, he doesn’t compose melodies prior to keep them in the studio.

Talking on Wednesday in a visit with Do2dtun, the radio personality, the vocalist said his melodies are recorded as freestyles.

Shallipopi contended that recording tunes prior to recording them “makes it excessively proficient rather than the planned energies and journey”.

“I don’t compose tunes. They are freestyles. They are off my head. Indeed, even the ones that look genuine to you I didn’t compose it. Indeed, even the serious ones I have sang,” he said.

“I did my lengthy play EP in only two hours. Simultaneously, I view my music in a serious way. Assuming I compose it, it will be excessively proficient. It should be like energy, voyage dispersed all over.”

Shallipopi began acquiring prevalence when he delivered his most memorable single named ‘Elon Musk’.

He later put out his lengthy play (EP) which housed six tracks — including a remix of ‘Elon Musk’ ft. Zlatan and Fireboy DML.

In June, the vocalist was condemned to two years in jail for web related extortion.

Last month, Monday Igbinidu, the expert highlife vocalist, made a lawful move against Shallipopi over supposed copyright encroachment.
