Davido’s five-month-old collection ‘Ageless’ has been proclaimed Collection of the Year at AFRIMMA 2023.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, prevalently known as Davido, was one of the greatest champs of the night at the tenth version of AFRIMMA hung on Sunday night (September 17) at the Meyerson Orchestra Center in Dallas, Texas.
The “Unavailable” singer won the AFRIMMA Album of the Year award, beating out, among others, Asake’s “Work Of Art,” Stonebowoy’s “5th Dimension,” Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone Deluxe,” and Amaarae’s “Fountain Baby.” His most recent album, “Timeless,” came out in March 2023.
This is Davido’s first award for the ground-breaking ‘Timeless’ album, which, shortly after dropping, became the highest charting African album on iTunes, and also reached number two position on the US Apple Music Albums chart.
