Congratulations to the new King Ogbomoso and his entourage, Omo Ajilete, Long live the King, Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, congratulated Oba Afolabi Laoye on his return. his appointment as the new Sound of Ogbomoso land.

Laoye, a former pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, resigned and handed over to Pastor Olumide Ogunjuyigbe on the directives of the RCCG Archbishop, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The Soun of Ogbomoso seat became vacant following the death of Oba Jimoh Oyewumi on December 12, 2021.
Arowona said God placed people in leadership positions while calling on the people of Ogbomoso to cooperate peacefully with the new king for the betterment of the town.
