A Nigerian music enthusiast GehGeh has erupted several reactions online as he disclosed that Rema is bigger than Wizkid and Davido.
GehGeh who is also known as a financial expert uttered that putting old glory aside, he would put Rema ahead of Wizkid and Davido based on present achievement.
Speaking further, GehGeh asserts that it high time Nigerians need to let go of old glory and start praising artistes with their present achievements so as to move the industry forward.
He added that as of this moment, the biggest artistes from Nigeria is singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu professionally known as Burnaboy.
He added that Burnaboy’s achievements so far are all present achievements and not all glory while adding that the “Last Last” crooner is the only artiste who single-handedly won the Grammy Award.
He added that the next artistes on the line after Burnaboy is Rema. He stated that Rema’s song “Calm Down” is the biggest song out of Africa at the moment.
He further lauds recent Rema’s achievement where he performed at the 2023 Ballon d’Or won by Lionel Messi. He refers to the Mavin Records signee has some with intelligent brain and a smart singer.
After Rema, GhenGhen said the next artiste is Wizkid. He said that Wizkid’s glory is absolutely nothing but old glory.
He further averred that Wizkid album “Made In Lagos” is the biggest album out of Africa and also won a Grammy Award which earned him a place ahead of Davido.
GhenGhen said that Davido will be in the 4th place, as he is also an old glory like Wizkid but has no major or recent achievement so far.
Based on female artistes, GhenGhen stressed that Tems is bigger than Tiwa Savage at the moment as she is a Grammy award winner and also has some international doing based on awards, collaboration,s and others.
GhenGhen says after Blaqbonez, he would pick Odumodublvck while noting that Burnaboy and Rema are the rave of the moment and probably earns higher than Wizkid and Davido.
