Chelsea are out of the Champions League after being defeated by Real Madrid in a thriller on Tuesday evening.
The Blues went into their quarter-final second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu looking to overturn a two-goal defecit.
And they came ever so close to pulling off an incredible comeback.
Chelsea scored three unanswered goals and, with 15 minutes of normal time remaining, it looked as if they were going through.
But Rodrgyo Goes’ goal made it 4-4 on aggregate and the game went to extra-time.
Karim Benzema netted in the 96th minute and Chelsea couldn’t find a response as they were dumped out of the competition.
Antonio Rudiger was, as always, particularly animated during the game.
The German defender wears his heart on his sleeve and is never afraid to show his emotions.
He went absolutely ballistic at N’Golo Kante midway through the second half.
With Chelsea 2-0 up on the night in the 68th minute, Kante dwelled on the ball and was dispossessed in the middle of the park.
Real Madrid broke and Rudiger had to put in a tremendous challenge to repel the danger.
Rudiger got to his feet and he was absolutely furious with Kante for giving the ball away. Watch the moment below…

Rudiger doesn’t care if Kante is one of the nicest players in football. He gave him an absolute earful.
The German defender spoke to BT Sport after the game and he was proud with his side’s effort.
“Over the two legs if you make these kind of mistakes you get punished,” he said, per the Daily Express. “It was a do or die for us. Before the game not everybody thought we could get to 3-0 but then the individual class comes to light with Modric and Benzema, now we are here.

“The positive is we didn’t give up. Not many teams can come here and dominate them as we did. But over the two legs if you make the mistakes we did, you get punished.
“That was the game plan, to find our No 10s with Ruben [Loftus-Cheek] and Mason [Mount] between Casemiro and the defence. We got the goal and we controlled, we didn’t panic, we did it quite well and in the second half we scored goals and did everything we could.”
Real Madrid will now play either Manchester City or Atletico Madrid in the final four.
